Time for step 9! Step 9 is basically piggy-backing off of last week’s lesson. Last week we focused on the people who we have hurt with our porn addiction. This week, we’re making amends to those that we have hurt with our porn addiction. Porn addiction is a bit different than other addictions, not many people have sympathy for porn addicts, and telling people the real reason why you weren’t able to maintain a normal relationship isn’t going to do anything but disgust them! The best thing you can do for everyone you’ve hurt with your addiction is stay away from them. You aren’t even done with the program yet! You need to be alone to isolate and focus on yourself and your addiction so that you can TRULY get better.
